| The degree to which joists are uneven should be tiny in a correctly build structure, since they are resting on beans that should be plumbed. We anticipate some degree of pitch (like a concrete floor would pitch) but never something where the shiplaps would not meet. |

| DRAGONBOARD is a far denser material than Gypsum, thus making it highly impact-resistant. As such, DRAGONBOARD weighs about 20% more than drywall. However, in fireproof applications, you will need fewer sheets of DRAGONBOARD to achieve a 2 or 3 hour UL rated assembly. |

| DRAGONBOARD maybe slightly more expensive, but will mitigate any mold or mildew issues and not rot like plywood. Aqua Tuff may be applied directly to DRAGONBOARD just as plywood, per Aqua Tuff specifications. |

| Engineered flooring may be floated directly over DRAGONBOARD. 3/4" solid hardwood flooring would need 3/4" sleepers (batten like product) fastened to DRAGONBOARD with screws following the joist system and flooring fastened opposite the sleepers. |

| This application is fine for DRAGONBOARD. If you need to “cap” the parapet, the top piece of DRAGONBOARD will sit on top of the assembly. A slight overlap is okay. The top of the assembly should not have the DRAGONBOARD placed inside the parapet and screwed from the sides, but rather it needs to be placed on top like a cap, and be fastened from the top. |
